I work mainly in the Data Warehouse practice with over 30 years of management, application development, and implementation experience. Currently I'm in my fifteenth year as Director of Data Warehouse and BI Solutions at Information Builders(IB) with responsibility for multiple multi-million $ implementations. Information Builders provides software and services that transform data into business value. During my employment with Information Builders, I successfully directed efforts at various levels of the IB organization. My experience encompasses customer program management, project management, and Data Warehouse architecture and design efforts in many different type of industries. Currently I manage projects for a large international fast food chain and assisting the architecture of multiple data warehouse and data mart designs in healthcare and insurance industries. My Management and Technical Experiences are highly coupled with vertical business knowledge in multiple industries including telecommunication, travel, hospitality, health care, insurance and public sectors. As a business analyst, I successfully translate business needs and goals to IT directives. My teams have always delivered decision support systems that were highly successful due to the recognition that every data warehouse project; is Business-Driven, must be funded by the business, has deep business involvement and must be used by the business with high confidence. When I act in the information engineer role, I'm the link between IS and the Business.
