Frank retired working full time. However, he still volunteers for AAF 10th District Foundation Board and the AAF Dallas Foundation Board, both provide scholarships for college students. Frank also does volunteer work for the Texas MG Register. His advertising career was concentrated in media at advertising agencies plus a few years in print media sales. Frank co-authored “Essentials of Media Planning: A Marketing Viewpoint” in three editions and 10 printings that’s been translated into three languages. It was used not only in college advertising programs but also in business sales trading situations. Frank's media director advertising agency experience includes responsibilities from clients including Pennzoil, Anheuser-Busch, Champion Athletic Products, Nokia, Campbell Soup, S.C. Johnson, Harley Davidson, Kodak, and Dupont. Frank was on the Board of AAF Dallas from 1998-2017 and the Executive Director from May 2008 to November 2013. His other AAF experience includes being the founding President of the Rochester NY club, the local co-chair of the 2004 National Conference in Dallas, chair of the District 10 2008 Convention and receiving the first Mark Johnson Eagle Award as Dallas Ad League Member of the Year in 2004-2005 and again in 2016-2017. He was chair or co-chair for sponsorships for the 7 AAF Dallas AdRoast between 2000-2007 that raised over $300,000 for the DREAM Fund and $75,000 for the AAF Dallas Foundation. At the AAF 10th District, Frank won the Member of the Year Award in 2012 and Sterling Service Award in 2013. In 2016 the Rochester Advertising Federation saluted Frank with their Silver Medal for founding the club 25 years earlier. At the national AAF level, Frank recruited 5 national brands to be part of the National Student Advertising Competition.
