I specialise in direct tax advice for owner managed businesses. I offer straight-talking, commercially driven advice on a wide range of tax matters to help my clients meet the challenges of owning and growing a business. My expertise covers Research and Development (R&D) tax credits, Patent Box, Family Investment Company structures, income tax planning and profit extraction, corporate re-organisations, and Inheritance Tax (‘IHT’) planning. My role involves working closely alongside business owners, ensuring our clients get proactive advice tailored to their specific needs. Whether it’s an ambitious business looking to scale-up their operations or an established company looking to maximise profitability, I offer strategic support to help them achieve their end goal. I’m also one of a few in the accountancy profession to hold a Probate practitioner qualification. As a firm, this gives us the opportunity to offer a more holistic approach to estate, trust and IHT planning, whilst providing our clients with comfort that their financial affairs will be looked after during the probate process. I initially joined Haines Watts as an A level school leaver and progressed through my AAT apprenticeship, ACA, and CTA exams to become Haines Watts’ youngest Partner to date.
