Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the accountancy profession, working for a number of different firms during this time. He has been a partner with Haines Watts since 2008. Chris looks after a substantial and growing portfolio of clients, from sole traders through to multinational groups, focussing on owner manager businesses. He deals with a diverse range of businesses, specialising in certain sectors, including hotels and leisure, retail, property and manufacturing. The key to Chris’ success has been recognising the importance of understanding clients’ requirements and presenting solutions in a suitable way for his clients. He takes a keen interest in his clients’ business activities and strives to attain a close working relationship. This allows him to pre-empt issues within the business and to offer timely, relevant and proactive advice. Chris has a wealth of commercial and audit experience and he also has significant expertise in: •Tax planning for groups, companies and individuals, including wealth management; •Helping clients develop and grow their business; •Undertaking due diligence work and valuation work. Assisting with acquisitions, disposals and mergers; •Advising clients with group reconstructions and other commercial decisions; Chris is married with two young children and, in any spare moments they allow, enjoys following his favourite football team.
