Homewatch CareGivers was founded in 1980 in Denver, Colorado by Paul Sauer. The company has grown to include over 150 different locations on four continents. The Utah office was opened by Kevin Whatcott in 2006 and provides the same high-quality service that clients throughout the world have come to expect. KEVIN WHATCOTT was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from West High School in 1980 and then served a two-year mission for his church in New England. After attending the University of Utah, he graduated with honors in 1988 with a degree in political science, a minor in economics and a Certificate in Public Administration. He received his law degree from Boston University in 1991. In 1993, he co-founded the law firm of Whatcott, Barrett & Hagen PC, a law firm that specializes in helping poor and disadvantaged clients as they work to regain control of their finances. The firm grew to be the largest consumer bankruptcy practice in the state of Utah. Prior to their deaths in 2009 and 2010, Kevin had taken on a more active role as a caregiver for his mother and father. This new role in their relationship became a regular and rewarding part of his life. During this time he also saw a dramatic increase in elderly clients seeking help from his law firm.

I work as a social impact executive and non-profit director. I have helped organizations to attract over $15 Billion in sustainable investment in debt and equity offerings. I have worked in senior care since 2012 and I currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Frontline Care, a senior services company with operations across the United States. I also volunteer as a chaplain at Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care. I previously worked in the natural resource sector as the Chief Financial Officer for Behre Dolbear Group, and as Treasurer of Golden Star Resources in Denver. In my work in developing countries, I facilitated investments in sustainable local initiatives including palm oil plantations and fisheries. I also played an instrumental role in creating a carbon trading organization in the United Kingdom, Germany and Brazil. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of Opera Colorado and Lionhearted Kids, a non-profit supporting underprivileged communities around Cape Town, South Africa.
