I am a long term IT Infrastructure professional with an excellent track record in large scale infrastructure design and delivery. I am a senior member of the Infrastructure, Connectivity and Operational Tooling Family within Sainsbury’s Tech and respected both across IT functions and in business teams with whom I have regular dealings. I have an extensive background in networking but required good knowledge of systems that operate across them. This, and a long secondment as a solution architect, provided a solid grounding that enabled my candidature for the Home Retail Architecture team formed in 2008. Since successfully transitioning to that role I have been a visible and active member of that team, leading a small team of infrastructure domain architects in a dotted line capacity and an integral part of the technology team devising a £multimillion transformation program for Home Retail.
