She began her distinguished career in the Mortage Industry over 30 years ago, joining Countrywide Thrift and Loan right out of college in 1989. Having been in the mortgage industry for over half of her life, Cathy has seen and survived every Real Estate Market, and has excelled in every aspect; from collections, bankruptcy, foreclosures, managing an auto leasing portfolio and helping sell REO properties, to becoming a Loan Officer and Ranking in the Top 5 of Loan Officers nationwide each and every year until she became a Branch Manager for Countrywide in 1999, where she then promptly won the Janet Kukowski award as Branch Manager of the year. During her tenure as Branch Manager she built a team of over 30 loan officers, along with production assistants, processors, underwriters and funders and as she has routinely done, her team earned numerous awards and finished in the Top 3 of branches in the country. In 2009 Cathy moved to HomeBridge Mortgage as an Area Manager for Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, consistently ranking in the top 10 of branches nationwide for Production and profitability. Cathy effortlessly interacts with customers and her team, not only adding to her knowledge and experience in helping manage her team effectively, but allowing her team to rely and learn from her experience and pass that wisdom on to their clients. One interaction with Cathy and you quickly realize that you are more than a “client” or “employee” to her, you are now connected to her, allowing you to feel confident that she will be there for you long after your transaction has closed. She will always be in your corner. When Cathy is not leading her team, you will find her enjoying a relaxing day at the beach with the love of her life Dave, whom she has been married to for 28 years and their two fur babies, Baxter and Rocket, or baking something delicious for friends and family, her desserts are legendary.
