1. What I do I put platform companies on the map and help the personal growth of the people behind them. This means that I help shape the financing, operations, go-to-market strategy, marketing, business and corporate development of companies which are the foundations of their ecosystem of industry players. Currently, I do so by advising, consulting with, and mentoring small and large companies as well as standards bodies’ executives and their teams, in the field of advertising, location based services, and premium content distribution. 2. What I have done I successfully launched and drove digital media software platform deployments now used by more than 250 million consumers. I did this at small and large, private and publicly traded companies. They include OpenTV (IPO in 1999), Liberate (IPO in 1999, then acquired by Comcast and Seachange), Watchwith (investment by Samsung, Sony-Gracenote and Motorola). 3. Who I know I am blessed to have worked with extraordinary people, and continue to enjoy fruitful connections in the broadcasting, content owners and creators, distributors, advertising, metadata and digital media infrastructure worlds. 4. My style, ethics and leadership philosophy I pride myself to be both a strategic level thinker, leader and executive, as well as an operator with the capacity to go down to the detail level. I do not shy from actually working on, and producing writing, presentations, financial models. I led by example, and from the heart. I seek to mentoring more CEOs and high potential individuals who need a confidential sounding board for their leadership challenges. Understanding, listening, inspiring, motivating and leading humans to realize their potential in an organization is where my passion lies. 5.
