Mr. Gagliano brings over 30years of experience leading complex systems engineering, integration, and applied research and development projects that leverage cutting-edge and disruptive technologies to effect transformational business change. His technical expertise is balanced with strong strategic planning, technology forecasting, business, and customer skills. He has authored papers on telemedicine, enterprise architectures, wireless and mobility, object-oriented and Agile SW development, virtual reality, and nanotechnology.Mr. Gagliano supports GDIT Defense Systems Division's Advanced Technology Solutions Sector in providing innovative solutions that help grow the business by meeting our customer's most demanding challenges.Prior to GDIT, Mr. Gagliano supported Acentia/Maximus'​ Strategy and Solutions group in establishing the Centers of Excellence, providing oversight across IT Modernization, Cloud Computing, Collaboration, IT Service Management, ‘BigData’ Informatics, IT Strategy and Planning, and the ‘Technical Fellows’ and IRAD programs.Prior to Acentia/Maximus, Mr. Gagliano was Director of Customer Solutions within Cisco’s Globalization Center, applying his Enterprise IT Systems Architecture background in aligning customer business challenges with transformational business solutions. He helped create Cisco's global Winning in Architecture and Business Transformation practices, and focused on delivering broad citizen and community impact through Cisco’s Smart+Connected Communities program. Before Cisco, Mr. Gagliano served as an organizational CTO and Technical Fellow at Northrop Grumman, leading corporate initiatives in Services Oriented Architectures and Semantic Interoperability while overseeing applied research in mobility, security, and wireless technologies. His international work experience includes multi-year field positions in N. America, Europe, and SE Asia.
