Currently Director of Finance at the group level for Funding Circle, a listed fintech business. I am responsible for our internal and external financial reporting, tax, treasury, group financial planning and analysis and oversight of our outsourced internal audit. I joined at the start of the Group’s IPO process and was a core part of the IPO team running multiple work streams. This was followed with leading and delivering the Group’s first annual report as a listed company. The role is a broad one and I work with all parts of the business from legal, company secretarial, capital markets and risk and with the whole leadership team and committees of the Board. Previously I was Group financial controller and Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and tax for IG Group, a FTSE 150 financial services company where I was responsible for all aspects of internal and external financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and oversight of tax with teams around the world reporting in to me. The role encompassed significant interaction with executive management, the Board and its Committees and external advisors. Prior to that I was an audit director at PwC with primary focus on FTSE and multinational groups, inbound and privately owned businesses. At PwC, where I was for 17 years, I was responsible for PwC's overall services and relationships to a number of large and small business interacting with executive management, audit committees and boards. Experience with a variety of industries (with a particular focus for several years on transportation/logistics, infrastructure, real estate, retail, business services and financial services) and transactional projects (including due diligence and refinancing).
