I am a highly motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for the Information Technology industry. I have worked both in the UK and Australia in this field for over 12 years and have developed incredibly strong technical skills as well as laid the foundations for first-rate leadership. Furthermore, I have enhanced my organisation and communication skills which are paramount when dealing with clients/users on a daily basis. This allows me to have a better understanding of my client’s business needs and to develop trustworthy relationships with them. I excel in designing networks of all sizes, exploiting the advanced features of switching and routing to maximise performance and security provided by various hardware vendors. Taking advantage of the latest technological offerings has enabled me to consolidate hardware requirements and offer clients better performance and cost-saving solutions. I demonstrate a high level of aptitude and independence in developing solutions and providing measurable improvements to complex issues which may fall outside of the scope of immediate technical expertise. Implementing the solution on time and on budget is something I pride myself on and having worked closely with the senior management of clients, I have a good feel for what services and solutions they are looking for and how best to implement them. It is difficult to write such a brief summary when you've done as many project implementations as I have. Especially as the complexity of them is often lost as is the amount of time, effort and knowhow required to undertake them.
