Framestore is a Bafta and Oscar-awarding winning creative studio that offers a range of visual effects, production, direction and post production services to its film and integrated advertising clients. It is famous for its VFX work for films such as Gravity, Harry Potter and Avatar, its CGI recreation of Audrey Hepburn for Galaxy and its pioneering virtual reality (VR) experiences, such as Game of Thrones: Ascend the Wall for HBO. Framestore is based in London, New York, Montreal and LA, with its four locations providing animation, colour grading, concept art, design, digital, digital imaging, film VFX, interactive installations, Labs, live action production and direction, previsualisation (pre-vis) and visual development.
Currently I've just joined as a Front End Javascript Developer at The Home Office. This was after finishing a 16 week full time course at Makers Academy. Here I learnt how to use Git, OOP, Ruby, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Rails, Node.js, ORMs (DataMapper & Thinky), Mocha, Zombie, Jasmine, RSpec, Capybara, PostgreSQL, RethinkDB, MVC, Agile Methodologies and more.
