Foundation Medicine, Inc. is a molecular information company. The Company sells products that are enabled by its molecular information platform to physicians and biopharmaceutical companies. The Company's segment is the business of delivering molecular information about cancer to its customers. Its products provide genomic information about each patient's individual cancer, enabling physicians to optimize treatments in clinical practice and biopharmaceutical companies to develop targeted oncology therapies. Its flagship clinical molecular information products, FoundationOne for solid tumors, and FoundationOne Heme for blood-based cancers or hematologic malignancies, including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and advanced sarcomas, are genomic profiles designed for use in the routine care of patients with cancer. Its other products include FoundationACT (Assay for Circulating Tumor deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)), GeneKit, FoundationCORE, FoundationICE and the SmartTrials program.

Successful change agent able to build excitement and mobilize resources on a variety of strategic initiatives including Lean and continuous improvement, winning the next generation of customers (Gen Y), and the business impact of technology innovation. I have a wide range of experiences and expertise, connected by three key themes: 1) Change agent. In my roles at BayBank, Fleet Bank, Forrester Research, AMR Research, and Fidelity I have successfully led change efforts by defining the opportunity, researching solutions, planning the execution strategy, building business support, and carefully selecting volunteers to be part of a change team. Practical skills include research, written communication, presentation and facilitation, and consensus building – but most importantly it involves passion. 2) Business/Marketing professional. Both my undergraduate and MBA are in marketing. My specialty is new product development. At BayBank I started in product management developing new products. At Fleet I was also in product marketing. At both Forrester and AMR Research my role was primarily as a product manager – managing a portfolio of research products to meet customer needs and deliver business results. 3) Design thinking. I have a number of entrepreneurial endeavors including founding KidByte, being part of the launch team for Bergen Business Networks, and owning two Curves for Women franchises. My passion for design thinking carries over to my other positions creating a portfolio of new product or program introductions next-generation ATMs, the Forrester Wave, and Lean. The success of these efforts is not mine alone, but rather based on my ability to rally the support of highly effective teams with diverse skills that rapidly create, test, and revise innovative solutions.
