When I look back on the career I’ve had so far, I’m incredibly thankful for how robust and varied the skills I’ve been able to accumulate are. Above all else, the most important skills I have are my +10 years of leadership and marketing experience. Providing direction, creating strategy, coaching and developing others are some of the things that bring me the most joy at work. Throughout the years I have built extremely successful marketing teams focused on digital marketing, lead generation, and branding. My experience has allowed me to focus on marketing to many very different groups, lead generation of high net worth investors as well as branding and candidate applies for hundreds of roles. I enjoy working with people with extensive marketing backgrounds and those new to the field who are ready for a new adventure. Additionally, I have a passion for operations, process improvements, technology implementation, and project and program management. One of the things I’ve been most proud of recently was the feedback I received on my latest 360 Manager Review. It was completed anonymously by 19 raters, including my managers, peers, direct reports, and others I work with closely. Out of 12 competencies, my scores ranged from 4.18 – 4.55 out of 5 in all areas. The competencies were self-awareness, learning agility, influence, communicates effectively, manages complexity, courage, develops talent, drives engagement, drives results, instills trust, client focus, and values differences. My success has been driven by hard work, building relationships, and continuous learning. I’ve never focused too much on one specific title, opportunity, or department. I have taken risks and accepted roles that would test and stretch my knowledge and what I thought I knew. At the end of each day, the thing that has matter most has been my ability to lead teams with compassion, autonomy, and a focus on personal and professional development.
