Proven CEO who is passionate about assembling high performance teams, building brands, leading innovation, driving operational excellence, and delivering breakthrough results. Being entrepreneurial has played a major role in my life since the age of 14, when my family took every penny that we had to buy a small motel. I believe that every major door that's ever been opened for me goes back to that motel experience. It was here that I learned the importance of cash flow, economic profit, and how to treat others – our employees, customers and the community. Throughout my career, I have been able to take many of these entrepreneurial skills to scale much larger businesses. Today I have more than 30 years of consumer products experience with a demonstrated record of driving profitable growth – taking brands from $50 million to $2 billion. In 2014, I became the CEO of e.l.f. Beauty; taking the company public in 2016. I am very proud of our team at e.l.f. Beauty. I lead with the motto, “One team, One dream”, and I am committed to building a company culture that empowers our teams to move at e.l.f. speed to get things done. Prior to e.l.f., I was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Schiff Nutrition (NYSE:SHF) with leading brands such as Airborne and MegaRed, building enterprise value from $190 million to $1.5 billion. I also held leadership roles at The Clorox Company, as GM of the $1.5 billion Litter, Food, and Charcoal divisions, taking those businesses to new records as well as creating the company’s Health & Wellness platform which helped double the size of the Clorox franchise. I began my career in brand management at Procter & Gamble, leading the Pantene and Bounty brands, after getting my B.A. in International Policy and M.B.A. from Duke University.
