An award-winning senior communications professional with a proven track record in strategic, integrated PR & corporate communications, reputation management and brand-building for professional services firms. Educated to masters level and with a business degree from a world class university, I have circa 15 years’ experience in full-service marketing communications, both in agencies and in-house, advising professional services firms and global blue-chip companies including British Airways, Xerox and AXA. Specialising in telling the corporate brand story through PR and integrated comms, I am one of only c. 40 Founding Chartered PR practitioners in the UK. A strategic thinker and commercially aware, I am adept at navigating complex business structures in a regulated environment and managing strong personalities to successfully develop relations with internal and external stakeholders in order to build brand equity and deliver maximum ROI. I am able to engage and challenge stakeholders and manage sensitive issues with discretion. Confident, determined and energetic, I am an experienced team leader and project manager who is used to operating in a fast-growing and constantly changing business. With a personal commitment to improving professional PR practice, I am an associate tutor for a leading learning and development provider; one of only a handful of assessors of prospective Chartered PR practitioners; a committee member of the CIPR’s Professional Practices Committee which aims to enhance professional PR practice; and a member of the CIPR’s Corporate & Financial Group, which represents corporate communicators in the City and throughout the UK.
