As the second largest school system in Georgia, the Cobb County School District is responsible for educating more than 106,000 students in a diverse, constantly changing suburban environment. The mission of the Cobb County School District is to provide an academically rigorous, caring and safe educational environment in partnership with families, students and the community.
I am currently the Instructional Technology Coach/Webmaster for Allatoona High School in the Cobb County School District, north of Atlanta, Georgia. I am passionate about supporting teachers as they fully integrate educational technology into their classrooms. We know that students today are digital natives and learn better when technology becomes intuitive in a classroom. We need to move technology integration from an attitude of technology being something special to technology being a key part of everything we do!
