Carefirst, Inc. is primarily engaged in providing hospital, medical, and other health services to subscribers or members in accordance with prearranged agreements or service plans. Generally, these service plans provide benefits to subscribers or members in return for specified subscription charges. The plans may be through a contract under which a participating hospital or physician agrees to render the covered services without charging any additional fees. Other plans provide for partial indemnity and service benefits. Also included in this industry are separate of health maintenance organizations which provide medical insurance.

- Data Analytics Manager with a Master of Science in Data Analytics Engineering, and 8+ years of experience executing data-driven solutions with adept knowledge in Development, Data Analytics, Text Mining, Machine Learning (ML), Predictive Modelling, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). - Hands-on experience in Big Data and Analytics - Experienced in Data Integration, Validation and Data Quality controls for ETL process and Data Warehousing - Demonstrated ability to deliver valuable insights via data analytics and advanced data-driven methods - Experience designing and implementing statistical/predictive models and cutting-edge algorithms utilizing diverse sources of data - 8+ years of experience in Customer service and support, programming both new applications and maintenance work, problem isolation and analysis, application and requirement analysis, and process improvement and documentation
