I am an experienced financial professional having spent my entire 30 year career in the financial services sector working both locally and internationally in organisations ranging from start-ups to listed entities. My insurance specialization led me into the teaching space where I spent 13 years creating and delivering content for the not-for-profit Financial Services Accountants Association where I also served as a Director and Chairman. Leaving the corporate world in 2021 to focus on my family, investment portfolio and non-profit positions, I joined the Clean Waters Oceania, Sustainable Food & Water and Back to the Bush Australia boards early in 2022. As the Executive Director of Finance and Company Secretary for both Clean Waters and Sustainable Food & Water, I oversee all of the capital, funding, regulatory, risk, financial control, reporting and administration functions as well as being an Advisory Board panel member. In addition to these positions, I have been the Chairman and Trustee of the Australian Cord Blood Foundation since 2011. The Foundation’s sole purpose is to support the Sydney Cord Blood Bank in providing life-saving transplantation of blood stem cells for the treatment of leukaemia and other life-threatening conditions. I am a Fellow of CA ANZ, hold an MBA, am a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Justice of the Peace. I am also a Director of a number of other start-ups where I have assisted with private equity funding.
