I am a professional leader, agile developer, cloud expert and entrepreneur with a successful 30 year track record of using technology to enhance business success. I currently am an executive leader of an in-house, entrepreneurial skunk works within The Home Depot where I help make the process of buying highly complex, custom products and services surprisingly easy and exciting at home, in the store, online and on the go. I remain hands-on with development technology and play a leading role in solution architecture and design. I've made an impact across a variety of industries including e-commerce, telecommunications, oil and gas, finance, aerospace, manufacturing, commercial printing, distribution, mortgage and retail in software development, consulting, I.T. leadership and executive leadership roles. Over the last fifteen years I have been a hands-on leader in delivering highly scalable, cloud-based business solutions using agile methodologies including Scrum, Lean, Kanban and XP. As an entrepreneur, I operated successful technology consulting companies in Chicago and Portland before helping to take Kinetics.Com public in the very early days of the dot.com boom. I subsequently founded Objective Advantage, Inc., a commercial print industry ISV and technology consulting company, which operated successfully for over 12 years before selling its IP and customer base in 2009.
