Creating revenue is what I'm focused on day-to-day. Selling is a blast, and helping others learn how to sell is even more enjoyable. I'll always get your Glengarry Glen Ross references, however I have a much more modern approach to selling (I'd consider myself a Challenger). Continuous education is important to me - I learn from reading books, speaking with my mentors, and listening to my colleagues. I thrive in agile, flexible environments and I'm a complete self-starter. My career started with cold calling - every sales person's least favorite task, yet I embrace the fact that I had the opportunity to launch my sales career with a solid foundation of cold calling. After I felt I had proven myself effective in the cold calling role, I found myself as a founding employee of a tech startup. This was the perfect fit for me, allowing me to start at the ground level and build up an immense amount of experience (and build monthly recurring revenue for the company of course). My responsibilities grew with the company - eventually leading a sales team, overseeing marketing for a couple years, and most recently restructuring sales to build a sales development team from the ground up. Having the bulk of my career experience being in a small(ish) organization that has successfully scaled has been the biggest contributor to my "Human Capital". I've worn many hats in a short amount of time, and this has allowed me to truly understand my strengths and weaknesses, as well as my core values.
