Over 16 years experience in the European leveraged finance market evaluating investment opportunities across geographies, industries and capital structures (including a year spent in New York). On the Investment Committee during tenure at The Carlyle Group. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and negotiation skills across all business levels, with a track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with fixed income professionals and management teams. Currently responsible for a c. $1bn portfolio in the European Retail, Food & Beverage, and Consumer sectors. Sole responsibility for idea generation, credit analysis, investment recommendations and portfolio monitoring in these sectors. Previously covered the European TMT/Cable sector for 6 years. Experienced in investing in various structures (CLOs, High Yield Bond Funds, Total Return Funds, Distressed). Has invested across the capital structure including Senior Secured Loans, High Yield Bonds, PIK Notes and Reorg equity. Extensive experience in document negotiation, transaction structuring and restructuring across a number of different financial structures and jurisdictions.
