Michael Stewart is a Managing Director of American Portfolios Financial Services Inc., a New York based full service broker/dealer and a registered FINRA/SIPC member firm, as well as the owner/operator of the Houston branch of APFS. With over 30 years experience, he is a seasoned financial advisor who has worked extensively with affluent individuals and business owners throughout his career. Upon receiving his BBA in management from the University of Texas, Michael began his career as an Account Executive with Merrill Lynch in Austin, Texas. He trained at Merrill Lynch's training program in New York City. Noteworthy as well was Michael's tenure with Paine Webber, where he was Branch Manager (1984-1986) of the 17 broker office in Austin, Texas, and graduated from the Paine Webber Management Development Program. Michael and his Houston Associates offer independent, objective financial advice, services, and investment management, meeting the needs of affluent individuals, professionals, and business owners.
