Tim is a Chicago based Deals Director in PwC's Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) group with over 15 years of experience with PwC, serving clients in North America and Europe while based in the U.S. and Hungary.Tim specializes within PwC's Public Offering service practice in the U.S., where he helps both public and private companies access the debt and equity capital markets in the U.S. along with helping companies complete complex domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions. Tim helps these corporate or private equity sponsored companies by providing them with technical and project management advice on accounting and financial reporting issues associated with their SEC registration process, IPO's, spin-offs, 144a debt and equity offerings, divestitures and carve-outs, and conversions to and from IFRS and US GAAP. In this role, Tim had lead multiple engagements where he has advised companies throughout the public offering or M&A process, including preparation/readiness considerations such as identification and prioritization of tasks. Pulling from his extensive experience, Tim has shared with companies best practices in execution of the related transaction and considerations of post transaction and other on-going impacts to the organization.Tim has deep technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge including: accounting for business combinations, common control transactions, stock compensation, revenue recognition, segment reporting, the SEC registration process, pro forma financial statements, accounting and reporting for carve-out financial statements and private equity exit strategies.
