What counts as a verified email?

A verified email is one that passes our live checks against the recipient's mail server. We run those checks the moment you search - never from a stored database or cached results. If a search doesn't return a verified email, it's free.

Some domains are "catch-all": they accept mail to any address, so a standard check can't tell whether a specific mailbox actually exists. Most tools mark these "risky" and skip them - we run extra checks to decide whether the address is genuinely valid before calling it verified.

What happens to unused credits?

Do duplicate searches use credits?

No. Re-running the same search within 30 days is free. This applies across single searches, bulk uploads, the API, and the extension.

Monthly vs yearly - what's the difference?

Monthly bills each month and gives you that month's credits. Yearly bills once for the year, gives you all your credits upfront, and saves 33%.

What happens if I cancel?

Your subscription won't renew. You can keep using your remaining credits until the end of your current billing period - the end of the month for monthly plans, or the end of the 12-month term for yearly plans. Any unused credits expire after that, and yearly plans aren't refunded for unused credits.

Can I get credits back if a verified email bounces?

Yes. If an email we returned as verified bounces, report it from your dashboard or the API and we'll credit it back after review. This applies to results charged as verified - anything risky or unverified wasn't charged, so there's nothing to refund.

How often should I re-verify emails?

Email validity drifts over time as people change jobs and addresses go inactive. Emails we find are verified the moment you search, so they're fresh. For emails from other sources - or any you found more than 2-4 weeks ago - we recommend re-verifying before you send.

Can I share my account with my team?

Yes. You can add unlimited team members from your dashboard, and everyone shares the same credit pool - so one subscription covers your whole team, with no per-seat pricing.

Can I change plans anytime?

Yes. To change plans, subscribe to the new one from the pricing page. Upgrades take effect immediately and add your new credits right away - or contact support for a pro-rated upgrade that keeps your billing date. For downgrades, switch close to the end of your current cycle so you don't lose days you've already paid for. Either way, your existing credits stay in your balance.
