Designs, manufactures and distributes public terminal systems and digital signage products to Fortune 100 companies and various US government branches. Its kiosk configurations are used in more than 35 industries including health care, hospitality and security.

Having sold companies to ARM, Google, Gemalto, Intel, McAfee, Oracle, Seiko Epson, Symantec, TPG, Verifone, ViaSat, and others, I lead emerging technology companies on shareholder value creation and realization (usually through M&A at strategically-driven premium valuations). In 2016 I joined Zivelo as President to lead its outstanding team to enhance the management & leadership in support of the company's rapid growth. I also drove the process to develop a strategic acquirer, and Verifone acquired Zivelo in 2019. Zivelo is most well-known for being the supplier of self-service kiosks to McDonald's and many other national brands. For 12 years I was a Managing Director of Intelligent Capital in San Francisco focusing on technology M&A. There I led M&A transactions with acquirers including Google, Intel, Oracle, ARM (UK), Symantec, Seiko Epson (Japan), ViaSat, TPG, Conexant, Oak Technology, Gemalto (France), Fairchild as well as VC's and private investors. Earlier I was president of SpeedFam Corp., a high technology semiconductor equipment company that we grew from 50 people to over 800 (excluding joint ventures in Asia) and a successful NASDAQ IPO. Upon leaving SpeedFam I co-founded the Arizona Angels where I organized and invested through Phoenix's first angel investment group. Later was president of Isola Corp., the largest US printed circuit board materials manufacturer that we turned around and then successfully arranged an acquisition by TPG. I've been a speaker at software investment conferences, industry conferences, Stanford University, Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Management, SEMI, Sematech, and community events. Serving or have served on the boards of a number of private companies and the Executive Committee of the Dean's Council at ASU's Fulton College of Engineering.
