As a proven financial leader with solid and progressive experience in all facets of corporate financial management in multi-national public and private companies across financial, insurance and enterprise technology, my passion is optimizing technology companies for growth, capital raising and M&A. Focusing on enhancing execution to enable scale, my 25-year career growing SaaS companies includes leadership roles across the globe, driving $20+ billion financial system design and implementation, corporate compliance, capital markets, mergers and acquisition processes, due diligence and post-acquisition integration. I joined SaaS software startup Zenefits as CFO to be part of the leadership team driving their complete transformation and turnaround. Responsible for all of Zenefits’ financial and accounting operations, I lead all long-term strategic business and financial planning activities. Before joining Zenefits, I served as CFO of CoreHR, a cloud-based HCM and payroll software company based in Europe. Previously, I was CFO at Torrent Technologies, which transformed the way carriers and lending institutions participate in the flood insurance market. I successfully managed a multi-party acquisition by a Fortune 500 multinational corporation, including all due diligence, negotiation, and purchase agreements, as well as post-merger operational and financial integration. I held several roles during my twelve years as an executive at Microsoft, including Division Controller, where I had responsibility for corporate long-term planning. Other career experience includes Deutsche Bank Capital Markets, where I was responsible for risk management and trading in convertible bonds and equity market derivatives, and finance and leadership roles at Vertafore and Shato Holdings Ltd. I hold a BA in Accounting and Economics from the University of Washington, and an MBA from Columbia University.
