ZapLabs, previously called ZipRealty, Inc. was founded on the belief that selling or buying a home could be faster, easier, and more efficient. We turned that belief into a reality when we launched the company on August 29, 1999. Three weeks later, on September 21, 1999, ZipRealty celebrated the acceptance of its first real estate offer. Since then, we've empowered agents to stay ahead of the curve with leading technology and helped countless real estate consumers receive the excellent service they need. After operating a tech-enabled brokerage for 15 years, we were acquired by Realogy in 2014 and rolled our brokerage into Realogy's corporate-owned brokerage, NRT. We became the central source of real estate technology solutions for Realogy's brands, from brokers to agents to home buyers and sellers. By the end of 2015, we deployed Zap (r), our integrated technology platform, to nearly 400 brokerages across the U.S. Just a few months later, ERA was the first Realogy brand to completely transition all of its broker websites and its brand website to Zap. From our beginnings as ZipRealty to our present-day position providing technology to tens of thousands of real estate agents and even more aspiring home owners and sellers, we've always kept innovation, connection, and growth front and center. As we move forward, we don't just plan on reacting to the future of the real estate industry - we'd like to have a hand in shaping it, too.
