I am a private client lawyer at Withers Bergman LLP, the US arm of the international law firm known as Withersworldwide. In that role, I act as a trusted advisor to international and domestic families, leaders in business and the arts, entrepreneurs, investors and fiduciaries. I often counsel on the legal and tax structuring of closely held business interests, family offices and philanthropic pursuits, the planning and administration of trusts and estates, and comprehensive risk management, governance, legacy and succession planning. I serve as global head of my Firm's family office practice, as well as being a leader in the firm’s Latin American and APAC client Groups. I became global Chairman of Withersworldwide in July 2013 and served in that role for the maximum two three-year terms under our governance rules. Today I serve in other strategic roles and am proud to continue to help drive the global expansion and good governance of a firm with 17 offices around the world that is a market leader in its space, passionately committed to building our success on helping our clients achieve their vision of success.
