My story begins as a classical guitarist (I studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and USC on music scholarships) and have toured in Hawaii, Japan, and few other locations including 5 minutes on fame on NPR. While at USC I started taking entrepreneurship classes and decided the only job I'd ever consider is Marissa Mayer's Rotational Associate Manager Program (RAMP) at Google. I spent nearly 4 years at Google initially in that program and then as a PMM working on initiatives largely related to search. While at Google, I met a gentlemen by the name of Rob Gray (ultraman champion), became obsessed with achieving my peak athletic potential, and ultimately became the #1 ranked 24&U Ironman Triathlete. The entrepreneurship bug called and I found my way to Santa Barbara where I worked for Kevin O'Conner (DoubleClick) and built a publishing business that now does over a million in ARR and helped drive the transition to graphiq.com. I've learned a thing or two about syndication and content marketing! 18 months later while running the Santa Barbara marathon, my vision let out and I found myself in the ER (and then to a variety of specialists regarding cardiac irregularities that were detected). It was my first concentrated experience with the healthcare system and the aha moment that led to my forever job: WELL.
