I've worn a few hats in my career. I've done full stack development. I've architected and written code that has scaled out to a million users. I have helped to migrate companies to the cloud. I've helped teams re-architect their on-premise architectures for the cloud. In other words, I like working on challenging projects. My current job is focused on designing and architecting solutions for use in the cloud. As far as work structure goes, I have worked as a member of a development team as well as led development teams. I've also been the sole developer on projects where I gathered the requirements and coded and implemented the solution. I’m currently working on a multi brand real-time analytics system at scale. I've developed Windows GUI's using the Windows SDK as well as websites using Node.js, PHP, ASP .Net, Go, HTML using frameworks like Angular and React. I've used a variety of approaches/methodologies including Waterfall, TDD, Kanban, and Agile. I've coded on monoliths as well as web services. Cloud experience: AWS(Running Production Workloads at Scale Since 2012) GCP(5 years of experience) - Former Certified Architect(from 2019 -2021) Programming experience: Go, Java(languages I'm using more often today) C, C++, VB, Python, PHP, Javascript(languages I've used in the past but am not actively using) Elixir, Clojure, Scala(Languages I've dabbled in but have nothing running in production with them) Terraform(11 years)
