Most recently I led several board-level customer-centric digital transformation initiatives at Walgreens Boots Alliance focused on (a) MarTech, (b) Customer Data Platform (c) Cloud Modernization to Azure, (d) Modern Workplace (M365), (e) Cloud-powered Data and Analytics platform, (f) Connectivity and (e) Devices transformation. These modernizations underpinned WBA's digitalization agenda. I see the role of technology to be critical to the ability of any “old economy” company which seeks to be truly customer obsessed. The blurring lines between business and IT need to be more pronounced to power digital transformation; the cloud is powerful when used correctly to deliver new customer experiences, coupled with the effective use of data, analytics and artificial intelligence. My leadership style is rooted in a few underlying personal principles: Trust, Partnership, Agility, Big Picture and Quality.
