A professional life in car rental spanning nearly 30 years and a personal life devoted to dogs, wolves.......and now horses! My career in the rental industry started in the 1980's as Branch Manager for Europcar at their Glasgow Airport location and I've had the benefit of seeing the industry change and grow substantially since then. Having started in rental operations my career seems to have come full circle by now coming back into an operational role although I've been extremely fortunate to have had very interesting, and diverse, roles along the way! Having been with Thrifty for over 20 years I've had the pleasure of being part of a company that's grown from strength to strength with the acquisition by Scot Group Ltd in 2006 being the main catalyst for that growth Our fleet offering continues to be one of the best in the industry with a full range of low mileage, high specification vehicles, coupled with a customer service reputation that is second to none
