Magazine's 'Top 10 Hottest Startups in LA'), the cloud-based video submission management platform which major organizations leverage to harness the value of videos captured and submitted by their constituents. Applications of the platform range from broadcast TV shows running online video auditions to some of the world's largest public safety agencies crowdsourcing eyewitness photos during major natural disasters and criminal events. In 2016, a non-exclusive U.S. license of the software for the public safety sector was acquired by the FBI.Nick has created three USPTO patents and has more pending. Recent awards include: 'Techweek100 Entrepreneur'​ by Techweek, 'Top 10 Hottest Startups in LA'​ by Inc. Magazine​, 'U.S. Public/Private Sector Innovation Award'​ by IJIS and 'Innovation Award'​ by POALAC Centurion. In April of 2014, after the Boston Marathon bombing investigation, he co-developed the LEEDIR program (www.LEEDIR.com) in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which is currently leveraged by U.S. and international agencies to leverage eyewitness photos and videos during terrorist attacks and major emergency events.
