Fortive IT Platform and Hosting Senior Manager Responsibilities: - Manage and direct worldwide Service Provider (team of 35+ on-shore & off-shore staff). Provide 24 x 7 infrastructure support for all enterprise systems (R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Financial, etc.) across Fortive IT and 11 operating companies. - Develop, deploy and support business and engineering infrastructure to include 2600+ Microsoft Windows, Unix, Linux, VMWare Servers, 650+ databases (Oracle and SQL), Middleware, Public and Gov Clouds (AWS/AWS Gov, Azure, and Oracle/Oarcle Gov Cloud), Enterprise SAN & NAS and backups. - Provide managerial and technical leadership during Priority 1/Critical IT Infrastructure incidents and numerous IT Infrastructure Projects to include mergers, acquisitions, divestures, datacenter consolidations, on-premise migrations to AWS/Azure/Oracle Cloud, and SOX compliance. Previously, senior system administrator and manager supporting Tektronix and Fluke IT infrastructure. Other positions include Tektronix Technical Computing organization as System Administrator, Team Leader, and Manager, directing a team of system engineers and system administrators involved with developing, deploying and supporting world-wide high-performance computing infrastructure. Projects include: - Transitioning worldwide IT support to a Managed Service Provider. - On-premise and cloud infrastructure deployments. - On-Premise data center migrations to AWS - Enterprise system upgrades. - On-premise application/SaaS deployments and migrations. - IT M&A activities. - Researching and recommending new hardware and software technologies. - Define and implemented IT procedures, policies, processes and work-flow for other IT personnel. - Provide 24 x 7 support for all functions within the business. Specialties: - Team leadership. - Cloud technologies to include Azure/Azure Active Directory, AWS, Office 365, SAML. - Microsoft technologies (Azure, Office 365, Active Directory, Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Office Applications and Server Applications (Federation Services, Sharepoint / Sharepoint Online, Internet Information Services (IIS), System Center Technologies, Terminal Services, and SQL Server)). - Virtualization: VMWare ESX, Virtual Center, Azure, AWS. - Hardware: HPE Proliant & IBM Servers and Blades, Load Balancers, NAS. - Box.com Administration.
