I am a full-stack marketer, media expert and entrepreneur specialising in building, growing and protecting brands. A South Australian now based in California, I work with clients in Australia, United States and Europe. Over more than 15 years I have worked across many industries, providing growth marketing and media services to professional services firms, sporting organisations, early stage tech startups, property firms, media companies and more. I work closely with people of influence who want to build and manage their personal brands, including elite athletes and business leaders. I am sought out not only for strategic growth and brand strategy, but also my ability to execute across every marketing channel. I deliver on full content marketing strategies that include podcasting, blogging and copywriting, influencer and talent channels, video and design. I have also successfully established strategic partnerships for startups, corporates and talent, while also achieving sales and business development goals. This broad set of skills enables me to confidently tackle just about every kind of business growth challenge. I am the Managing Director of the Montesi Company, a group of brands, companies and collaborations. Among these brands is Apiro, a growth marketing, media and content agency providing clients with the right strategy, system and people to achieve business goals. Under Apiro Media, I have produced hundreds of podcast episodes for my clients and my own shows, interviewing some of Australia’s best known and most successful sports stars, leaders and experts. Through my Accelerated Adviser program, I also equip and empower lawyers, accountants, financial planners, property experts and advisers of all kinds to fast-track business growth. I enjoy being hands on with clients and from time to time this includes investing, consulting or playing an internal strategic role with a brand I am passionate about. Previously, I oversaw the rapid growth of PickStar, the largest marketplace to book sports stars for any event, marketing campaign or experience. I was a co-founder of TalkLife (based in the UK), now the world’s leading peer support network for mental health, collaborating with Microsoft Research, MIT and Harvard University on world first youth mental health insights. Earlier, I was also a television sport reporter and producer at 9 News, after starting my career in the Adelaide Football Club's communications department.
