Carol is a highly driven information technology executive experienced in all aspects of development and delivery of technical solutions to meet business and customer needs. Her industry experience covers energy, financial services, health care, and retail companies. While at Talbots, she progressed through multiple leadership roles within IT, contributing to the multi-year, IT strategy and driving the adoption of new and emerging technologies to position the company for opportunities in the rapidly evolving marketplace. Carol helped transform corporate and operational functions through modernization of retail, direct, and supply chain solutions as well as legacy HR and financial systems. Her recent focus on omni-channel commerce includes the implementation of digital and store solutions to provide customers with a true omni-purchasing experience. She led global teams through company acquisitions with successful system consolidations post-merger and guided the development and maintenance of international IT operations in Japan, Canada, and the U.K. Her approach to change involves keeping the lines of communication open among stakeholders while managing the quality, speed, and cost of deliverables for critical projects.
