Emerging Technology Manager

The Swinerton Family of Companies provides construction services throughout the Western United States.

With almost 20 years of field construction experience, both as a communications technician, and a Technology/MEP Coordinator, my role as a Regional Solutions Manager for the Northern Region of Swinerton Builders has me supporting divisions in Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, as well as our divisions in southern California, Texas, and Colorado. I provide solutions and training for field construction technologies, such as BIM 360 Field, Bluebeam, Sharefile, Box, PlanGrid, and mobile solutions, as well.My previous role as a Technology/MEP Coordinator saw me supporting project teams from the preconstruction phase, through bidding and buyout, and out on the jobsite for all phases of construction, up to and including commissioning and building turn-over. While I managed any mechanical, electrical, or plumbing scopes as required, I particularly specialized in IT, structured cable, security, fire alarm, audio/visual, and other low-voltage electrical trades. My support of the rest of the field construction team (along with occasionally filling the role of PE or Superintendent) gave me opportunity to help manage other non-MEP scopes on an as-needed basis, so I also got exposure to the vertical transport, metal stud framing, finish work, and many others.When I'm not building things with Swinerton Builders, I'm also a professional photographer specializing in wedding, portrait, maternity, and commercial photography.Specialties: Scope of work, project buyout, sub-contractor management, information technology, security, structured cabling, low-voltage trades, audio-visual, cost control
