I have recently been heavily involved in a 35+ million £ IT outsource. Being the IT specialist within our NHS Trust, this has provided me with a huge amount of experience. I have been involved in nearly all aspects of the process from scoring through to implementation/transformation and have had involvement and decision making roles in areas such as Networking, Wifi, LAN/WAN, Web/Training, Benefits, IP/Mobile telephony, Lync, Infrastructure, AD and Exchange. I am able to clearly identify requirements and find, implement and test solutions. With such a varying role, i really thrive on being given a challenge, however i have to create the path forward and assist others throughout the Trust in all IT needs. Along with the technical aspects, i am a Prince 2 Practitioner, who is able to use these skills when required, but not over-use. I work very well with Project/Program managers helping to deliver all aspects of IT/Telecoms wherever required. I am an IT escalation point for all 5000+ staff within the trust, covering 3 counties and 200+ locations. I take time to understand all clinical impacts, risks and concerns I am heavily involved in problem resolution and service delivery on a daily basis with creative and well documented solutions. I am incredibly motivated and thrive when either working with or managing creative teams within tight deadlines. Hobbies: cryptography, Photography (HDR), digital graphics (Photoshop, Maya, Lightroom, Photomatix etc), Anything surrounding Computing in general.
