Ten year experience in the Memorial Hermann Health System as the Chief Medical Officer at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital. Responsible for Campus Quality & Patient Safety, inclusive of Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Peer Review, Risk Management & Patient Safety Program. Additional areas of direct responsibility include Case Management, Utilization Review, Medical Staff Services and all committees of the Medical Staff; Health Information Management, Medical Informatics (oversight for campus implementation of electronic medical record along with physician electronic ordering and 'Meaningful Use' 1&2 initiatives.) and Supportive (Palliative Care) Medicine (MH-The Woodlands was the first campus in the MH System to establish a comprehensive Supportive (Palliative) Medicine program in 2007.
