I love people, adventure, cultures and partnering with companies with a passion to excel in team building and guest satisfaction. Born on a rural farm in Pennsylvania, I found adventure in books until enlisting in the Marine Corps and discovering exciting adventure in foreign lands. Leadership, discipline, accountability and the pride which accompanies success, were lessons taught, demonstrated and assimilated in the Marine Corps. I was blessed to see the embodiment of these leadership principles by great mentors in highly successful companies while working for Ralston Purina, Marriott, PepsiCo & Chi-Chi's. At the age of 32 my passion for adventure and foreign culture took me to Europe to expand my knowledge of food, service and European restaurant operations. It was the experience of a lifetime with 20 incredible years of living in Europe and working in 30+ countries. My international years were spent developing new concepts (12) and consulting international companies with restaurant brands. In 2000 I returned to the USA and continued working in concept development and turning around under-performing restaurant companies. For turnaround work I needed a guest perspective program to identify and address unit level performance issues. The inability to identify a program to meet my needs as an operator lead to the development of QoreAnalytics. My intention was to use QoreAnalytics for turn-around situations, but once we discovered its power to dramatically improve unit level performance, I decided to share it with restaurant brands desiring actionable data that positively impacts guest satisfaction and achieves rapid, statistically valid, score increases correlating to improved results in guest perceptions and loyalty. It’s more pleasurable than I ever could have imagined as I get to do what I love with many companies at the same time!
