Karolina heads the Future Programs departement at Saab Aeronautics. Future Programs, or FireWorks, is Saabs skunk works organization responsible for developing prototypes and advanced development programs such as FCAS (Future Combat Air Systems) and to mature disruptive technologies for future fighter systems. Before Karolina got the opportunity to lead Future Programs, she was Chief Strategy Officer at Saab Aeronautics. Karolina has a solid technical background including PhD studies and a higher degree in artificial intelligence as well as several years in leading positions at Saab and Ericsson. She has a great interest in leadership, strategy and innovation which she is constantly developing in her current role. Karolina is a proactive leader with high ambition level, where she recognizes the importance of both business acumen as well as interpersonal skills. She is both a leader and an entrepreneur who strongly believes in dedicated teams working with clear goals, balanced strategies and bold visions.
