A commercially and strategically focused Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience of leading finance teams within cutting edge, progressive and globally renowned businesses across the media sector. Recent initiatives include transformational organisation change programmes, redefining the finance function, involving an intensive review of activities, talent and skills assessment, process change and implementation of best practice, resulting in enhanced customer engagement and delivery of significantly improved key performance indicators, during a challenging period for industry in general. Additional cross-functional project management experience and involvement in M&A. Ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level, whilst developing effective relationships with key stakeholders, to achieve outstanding results. Specialties: Financial control and compliance, decision support (FP&A), internal control (SOX), financial reporting (US GAAP, IFRS, local GAAP), transaction processing, tax compliance (including transfer pricing), organisational transformation, project management, policy and procedure development, Oracle ERP project implementation.
