Michael Christian is the founder and CEO of Risk Strategies Company, a leading national insurance brokerage firm. Mike has over 30 years of sales and senior management experience with diverse insurance and risk management organizations. As CEO of Risk Strategies, he is responsible for the development and execution of business/growth strategy, client service and mergers & acquisitions. In addition to his operational responsibilities, Mike continues to provide high-level risk management advice and brokerage services to several of Risk Strategies’ largest clients. Risk Strategies Company provides consultative risk management advice and insurance brokerage to companies of all sizes in a broad range of industries. The company also has significant health & welfare and private client practices. Risk Strategies has evolved from a start up in 1997 to a Top 50 brokerage firm. Prior to Risk Strategies, Mike served as Managing Director for Alexander & Alexander’s Northeast Region. From 1989 to 1995, he held several leadership positions with Jardine Insurance Brokers including serving on the US Board of Directors. Mike started his insurance career in California as an underwriter. He holds the Chartered Property and Casualty (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations.
