My name is Ken Lau and I am an aspiring business major with concentrations in Finance and Accounting looking to contribute and gain valuable experience in the investment banking/advisory industry. I am a driven, self-motivated team player dedicated to making an impact on any task, company, and organization that I may be involved with. Efficiency and a hard work ethic are pivotal to any successful professional, and I am someone that will bring both of these qualities to the table. I have had 10+ internships in my college career and I'm always looking to improve my own skill set from both a qualitative and technical perspective with any opportunity that comes my way.To support my ambitions to become part of the investment banking and advisory industry, I have had 2 internships in Investment Banking at Citizens Bank and Progress Partners. I have also joined the most competitive case consulting competition team (1 of 5 student chosen) at Northeastern University, Huntington Management Consulting (HMC). As an investment banking analyst intern at Citizens and Progress Partners, I have had the opportunity to learn all about the investment banking industry and am lucky to have gained exposure to live deal experience, financial modeling and preparing marketing materials for deals. As a consultant for HMC, I have had the wonderful experience to be exposed to the analytical thinking behind strategy consulting and have had the opportunity to consult TIA, a NFP in Bolivia and compete at an International Case Competition at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
