Operations Manager

I am an experienced people and process driven Manager with over 6 years of experience within both the Retail Operations and Buying at a Senior level. I have a passion for both people and products, I am a self starter and driven individual with a proven track record of achieving operational KPI's in order to achieve both personal and company driven goals. My experience in both Operations and Buying has offered me unique exposure to end to end supply chain management in a fast paced environment. I have extensive experience leading and managing people, I have a proven track record of supportive coaching and developing others to achieve Operational & Individual Performance Targets such as productivity, budgeting, sales, recruitment and health and safety. Working within Operations has given my the ability to work collaboratively across multiple work streams managing multiple projects and implementing improvement strategies. I have a sound understanding of Health and Safety within a retail environment including 5S Audits, risk assessments and legal obligations both internally and customer facing. I have worked closely with the Regional Health and Safety Manager on this aspects for the whole Region comprising of 70+ Stores and 1 Regional Distribution Centre. More recently I have been focused on leading a team of buying assistants focusing on procurement, ethical trade standards and negotiations regarding products. I have seen the product life cycle from manufacturing to customer facing and have experience with merchandising and I am proficient in customer service management.
