My involvement with the development of mortgage technology spans nearly two decades. I am a long-time contributor of technical, business and leadership expertise to the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization’s (MISMO) of which I currently am on the Governance Committee and lead the Organizational Subgroup. MISMO provides technology standards and leadership to the mortgage industry. I am an accomplished speaker and panelist at many occasions such at the Mortgage Bankers Association Annual and Technology conferences. I have also had the opportunity to instruct classes for CampusMBA on topics such as implementing electronic mortgage technologies using MISMO standards.I have worked with industry experts and the MBA to provide guidance and policy changes for the IRS in regards to automating the 4506-T tax transcript process.Another initiative that I have worked on is with industry experts and the MBA to provide guidance to the FHA around the acceptance of electronically signed documents mortgage documents to be delivered in their case binders.I have been recognized by Mortgage Banking Magazine as one of the 'MISMO All-Stars' in 2006.I was elected Chair of eMortgage Workgroup for MISMO in 2007 through 2011.I was elected to MISMO Governance Committee in 2008-2016.Specialties: process automation, electronic mortgages, electronic signatures, MISMO, XML, software development, software design and architecture, software development life cycles.
