My expertise lies in developing and applying novel computational solutions to problems in biomedical research and drug development. I have experience working on projects covering target identification, biomarker discovery, pharmacokenitic and pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling, clinical trial simulations, and bioprocess design. My main research interest lies in addressing one of the critical challenges in modern oncology - how to rationally design predictive biomarker-based drug regimens for treating cancers. Mathematical modeling, when used effectively, can serve a central role in drug development programs. By integrating disparate data from pre-clinical and clinical sources, models can provide a framework for quantitative decision making. I believe the integration of computational modeling and simulation into all phases of drug development could significantly improve productivity problems faced by the industry, as it has in other high-tech fields.
