Quality Distribution, Inc. (QDI) is engaged in operating the for-hire chemical bulk tank truck network in North America. The Company is engaged in truckload transportation of bulk chemicals and also engaged in International Organization for Standardization (ISO) tank container transportation and depot services, tank wash facility services, logistics and other value-added services. It is the carrier for many of the Fortune 500 companies engaged in chemical processing, including Dow Chemical, Procter & Gamble, Arclin USA, PPG Industries and Ashland Chemical Company. The Company operates in two segments: Trucking, which consists of truckload transportation of bulk chemicals, and Container Services, specifically ISO tank container transportation and depot services.

I am an experienced professional specializing in labor relations / labor law in the transportation industry and general employment law issues. Currently my responsibilities center on administering and being the lead company negotiator for multiple collective bargaining agreements nationwide with an eye towards maintaining positive union-management relations; managing general employment litigation including charges of discrimination, unfair labor practices and other matters involving the EEOC, NLRB and Department of Labor; and staying ahead of the constant assault on the independent contractor business model. I also have experience working on the union side of the fence.
