I earned a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Biology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs(UCCS). I was elected President of American Society Student Affiliates and the UCCS Science Club. After the completion of a two year Organic Research Internship, I presented my results to the American Chemical Society in Anaheim, CA. At Atmel Corporation, I began working in Plasma Dry Etch Process Engineering. I was quickly promoted to assist the Senior Chemical Engineer in the implementation and development of Etch processes. After I traveled the world for 14 months and 18 countries, my brother and I built a business plan and started a Fly Fishing Retail Shop and Outfitter. We increased our gross revenue 483% by the third year of operation. Our guides currently service clientele in 5 states and three countries. I was responsible for the development, organization, and implementation of all products and processes. Co-writer of all operational, organizational, and training manuals. I have a wealth of experience to draw upon, beyond the successful parenting of my 16 year old daughter. My experiences include a preschool teacher for United Way, General and Organic Chemistry Laboratory Instructor at UCCS, Ski Instructor and Competition Coach at Winter Park Ski Resort, Fly Fishing Guide and Instructor and trainer of guides at Mo Henry's Outfitters, and Soccer Coach for eight years.
